AT A GLANCE

Revelation retains hybrid action and command combat, adds a wider assembled party, and introduces FITS for class-based abilities and special outfits.

Final Fantasy VII Revelation continues the remake project's hybrid combat: real-time action combined with command-based decisions. The player can switch party members, issue orders in Tactical Mode, and use abilities and synergies. The new element named in the product description is FITS, a customization system that adds class-based abilities and special outfits.

FITS is not a complete job list yet

“Class-based abilities” indicates that FITS can change what a character does, while “special outfits” indicates a visual component. The official pages do not list classes, costumes, stat changes, unlock conditions, restrictions by character, switching cost, or whether a FITS choice can be changed anywhere.

The name is consistently written as FITS in the current English product text. No current source expands it into a longer phrase. Inventing an acronym expansion would create false lore, so this page keeps the published name.

What carries forward—and what remains unknown

Weapons, armor, skills, materia, party switching, Tactical Mode, abilities, and synergies are all explicitly named. That makes them part of the current product contract. It does not prove that every Rebirth weapon, folio, synergy, materia effect, stagger value, or combat shortcut returns unchanged.

Square Enix describes the system as refined, but that is a publisher characterization rather than a hands-on verdict. A review must test input response, camera behavior, difficulty, encounter variety, performance, and balance in the final build.

Why there is no best FITS or build page yet

A useful build needs a goal, available equipment, exact effects, costs, enemy context, version, and a repeatable comparison. None of those numerical contracts are public. Search interest in “best FITS,” “best class,” or “best weapon” should therefore be recorded as a future research task, not filled with guesses.
