Duskfade Steam Deck and Controller Support — Official Status

The developer says Duskfade is Steam Deck verified, while Steam lists full controller support and cloud saves for the Windows release.

Duskfade is Steam Deck verified according to the developer's official pre-launch FAQ. The current Steam listing also marks the Windows game as having full controller support, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing.

These labels answer different questions. “Full controller support” means the Steam edition is designed to be usable without switching back to a keyboard for normal play. “Steam Deck verified” is the developer's stated handheld status. Neither label publishes a guaranteed frame rate, battery duration, or graphics preset.

The PC requirements still matter on other handheld Windows devices: 8 GB RAM, DirectX 12, and a GTX 1050 Ti / RX 580 class GPU are the official minimum desktop comparison. For exact hardware values, use the Duskfade system requirements.

If a controller prompt differs from your physical pad, Steam Input configuration may affect the displayed layout. That is a platform setting, not evidence that the game lacks controller support.
