CONTROL Resonant PC System Requirements and 100 GB Storage

Both official requirement tiers use 16 GB RAM and 100 GB storage; the recommended GPU is an RTX 3070 or RX 6700 XT with 8 GB VRAM.

CONTROL Resonant requires a 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 PC, 16 GB RAM, and 100 GB of available storage. The minimum GPU is a GeForce GTX 1070 or Radeon RX 5600 XT with 6 GB VRAM. Recommended rises to an RTX 3070 or RX 6700 XT with 8 GB VRAM.

What the table does not promise

Steam does not attach a resolution, graphics preset, or frame-rate target to either row. It also does not say “SSD required” in the current requirements. A recommended RTX 3070 is therefore not an official promise of 4K, ray tracing, or a locked 60 FPS.

Tom's Guide reported a pre-release RTX 5090 demonstration running at what appeared to be 60 FPS, but the writer could not view a counter or change settings. That is useful preview context, not a benchmark for the GTX 1070 or RTX 3070 tiers. The tested build was still being tuned for lighting, frame rate, audio, and hit effects.

If your system sits near minimum, the honest answer is that it meets the published parts list; final performance remains unknown until the retail build and drivers can be measured. Leave more than exactly 100 GB free for downloads, unpacking, patches, and save data even though Steam's formal storage line is 100 GB.
