Blood Dungeon Gameplay, Progression, Characters, and Arenas

Blood Dungeon is a single-player 2D platforming autoshooter built around survival runs. You move through the arena to avoid and kite monsters, collect blood and powerups during the attempt, then spend earned bones on permanent upgrades after the run.

The official progression loop

The official Steam listing names nine unlockable characters and six unlockable survival arenas. Characters have different weapons and movement traits; its examples say Leggy can spin climbable webs, Bug can fly, and Skinja is built around speed. Steam also lists more than 100 quests and more than 100 weapons and upgrades.

Daily dungeons and global high scores provide repeatable challenges outside the basic unlock loop. Neither feature changes the player count: Steam and Xbox both list Blood Dungeon as single-player.
