Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced does not include multiplayer or co-op. Ubisoft says the development team focused on a solo experience. The original game's competitive multiplayer is therefore not part of the remake.

“Offline campaign” does not mean every installation step or bonus is offline. A digital purchase must be downloaded, title updates need a connection, and Ubisoft says digital content redemption requires internet and a Ubisoft account. The Animus Hub also delivers connected challenges, projects, lore, and rewards.

Once the game and required activation are in place, Ubisoft's announcement says the main experience can be played offline. That covers Edward's campaign, not an entitlement to claim connected rewards without connecting.

The solo focus also explains why crossplay and multiplayer progression pages would be misleading. There is no matchmaking pool to compare. If Ubisoft later adds a mode, it needs a new official announcement rather than an assumption based on the 2013 release.
